New AI Resource for School Leaders
Direct AI Updates for School Leaders: 9/12/2024
Hello all -
This summer, I delivered several AI trainings specifically for school leaders. From that, I created a large stack of ready-to-use ChatGPT prompts designed for your role.
Here is a document that lists them all: ChatGPT Guide for School Leaders.
Take a look at the table of contents. You will find fantastic uses for ChatGPT.
Please pass it along to anyone who would benefit from it.
ChatGPT Best Practices:
Remember, ChatGPT isn’t a search engine. It is designed to understand conversational language. Be clear and explain the task you would like it to perform in conversational language - the more clear the context, the better the response.
The number one mistake people make with ChatGPT is stopping at one prompt. If you don’t get a response you like, prompt ChatGPT again and specify what you didn’t like about the previous answer. You’ll receive an immediately revised response.
What Happened Last Month:
I hope you're all having a great start to the school year. I got to see many of you last month as the school year kicked off. In August, I had the privilege of delivering AI training to over 28 schools and 1,500 educators. It was a wonderful experience.
I look forward to seeing even more of you throughout the year.
If you want to learn more about the AI training that schools bring to their staff -
feel free to schedule a 15-minute meeting here or reply to this email.
This newsletter will be short and sweet. There wasn’t one in July or August. I wanted to send you the new resource we made full of AI use cases for school leaders. You’ll continue to receive updates whenever significant AI news affects education or when we make a resource you’ll find valuable.
