Direct AI Updates for School Leaders: Welcome
By Gruvy Education
Hello—this is William Grube. If you are reading this email, I have either delivered AI Training at your school or will soon. This email is about giving back. I want to help out at no cost. You will want to read the whole thing.
AI moves fast. It is impossible to keep up, especially while running a school. I will consolidate the vast amounts of AI information into what you need and want to hear. I will do this through a weekly newsletter. (I know newsletters can be lame, but trust me, keep reading.)
I dislike most newsletters because of their spammy nature. This will not be that. Read below to see how it will work.
How will it work?
The information sent out will be based on the audience’s preferences. Every newsletter will contain a poll where we vote on what is wanted in the following newsletter. To suggest options for these polls, simply respond to the latest newsletter with your ideas and questions. Think of it as my way of gathering the information that school leaders want. Then, I'll do the research and report back to you with the findings.
The first poll will happen at the end of this newsletter.
You will benefit even if you do not want to contribute ideas. You'll get to see what other school leaders are looking for. Plus, you'll learn things you may not have known you needed to know.
Each week, you will also learn a new way to use AI as a school leader. Read below to see what else you will find in each edition.
What you will find in each newsletter:
1. Information based on audience votes from the last newsletter.
2. Key AI updates from the previous week you would want to know.
3. My thoughts on it as someone boots on the ground with AI in schools.
4. Weekly AI use case tutorial for school admins (different each week).
Let's explore why I decided to start this. If you keep reading, you'll also learn how much Magic School costs at the district level.
In the past, I have kept lists of school leaders who want information as soon as I get it. For example, last week, I received Magic School’s pricing structure. I had a list of over 30 school leaders who wanted that information. I sent it out manually. This proved to be incredibly inefficient. Click here to view the pricing structure.
How everyone can help get this started:
Of course, it is okay if you do not want to be a part of this. You can hit “unsubscribe” at the bottom of this email, and you will be removed from the list.
For those of us who want to stay, here are a few quick things to officially kick off the start of this newsletter:
1. Hit reply and send a topic or question you're seeking information about. Or send a simple “Yes.” This tells email providers you actually want to get emails from me.
2. If this email landed in your Promotions folder, move it to Primary to ensure you see the next issue!
3. If you know any school leaders who might find this beneficial, they can sign up here.
4. Our first poll will determine the best day for you to receive the newsletter. Thank you for voting below.
What day of the week would you like to see this newsletter? |
I am looking forward to this incredible opportunity to give back. Thank you for having me train the staff at your school on AI. I cannot stress enough how important this will be as AI continues to improve.
Kind regards,
— William Grube
P.S. AI did not write this 🙂
