AI School Leadership Minute: Your paraprofessionals can use AI too
When paraprofessionals do not see themselves in the AI conversation, they assume it is not helpful for them.
Show your paraprofessionals that AI can support them by sharing one role-specific prompt they could use this week.
The prompt (break down a task into student-friendly language):
"Act as a paraprofessional supporting a student who needs extra help on [Insert topic - e.g., multiplying fractions, main idea, plant life cycle]. The grade level of the student is: [Insert grade]. Based on the task below, create an explanation using:
1) Clear, simple words
2) One step at a time
3) A real-life example
Here is what the student needs help with: [insert the task]."
AI offers endless possibilities for your paraprofessionals, office staff, counselors, interventionists, instructional coaches, and teachers.
We work with 300+ districts to help all staff use AI as a time‑saving tool, reduce student misuse, and set clear, consistent guardrails for responsible AI use.
Fall AI training dates are filling up. 23 schools have locked in their spot. I have about 18 dates left.
If you want to explore a session for your staff, take 15 seconds to complete this short form. I will follow up with options for your district.
To driving safe AI adoption,
