Turn updates from principals and directors into a clear report. Then, build a plan to move forward.

Here’s how:

Step 1—Open ChatGPT and use this prompt:
"Based on the goals and updates below:
1) Match each update to one of the five strategic goals.
2) Score each goal’s current progress from 0–100 based on the total updates.
3) For any goal scoring under 70, list key blockers and risks.
4) For each goal, write a 2–3 sentence summary of current progress, key actions taken, and what still needs attention.

Here are our five district strategic goals: [Paste your five goals]

Here are quarterly updates from school leaders and departments: [Upload or paste all updates]."

Step 2—Compile the board report with this prompt:
“Now, combine the five summaries into a structured progress report organized by goal. Include a 1-paragraph executive summary at the top highlighting overall trends.”

Step 3—Use this prompt to build a 90-day plan based on your goals and the updates:
"Based on the goals and where we are, create a 90-day sprint plan. List specific initiatives, assign each to a role (cabinet, principals, teachers, ops), and include due dates.”

Step 4—Craft an email to staff with this prompt:
“Now, draft an email to staff. Celebrate key wins, share the 90-day focus areas, and thank them for driving the work forward."

You just went from scattered updates to a board-ready report, an action plan, and a clear email for staff.
