Step 1: Identify Trends

• Upload attendance records to ChatGPT.

• Use this prompt: "Act as a school data analyst. Review attendance records to find trends, like frequent absences on certain days or drops during certain times of the year. Summarize key findings and point out patterns that might need policy changes."

Step 2: Revise Policy Based on Data

• Use the trends to refine your attendance policy.

• Enter this prompt: "Based on the attendance trends, suggest changes to the school’s attendance policy to help more students attend regularly. Consider frequent absences, seasonal patterns, and possible solutions. Here is my current policy: [paste policy here]."
